Tony and Bill became firm friends through a mutual interest of 50's & 60's music, and Bill asked Tony to think about going onto the Hull circuit as an Artist. Tony's Initial response was, I have'nt got the nerve no way ! But Bill can be very persuasive !
Tony has been a firm Buddy Holly fan since his early teens, having been taught to play guitar by an uncle who was influenced by Buddy Holly after seeing him play live. Like Bill, Tony is also Influenced by Eddie Cochran, Jerry Lee, Elvis Billy Fury, and The Stray Cats.

In February 2007, during a discussion on the East Yorks music scene Bill and Tony voiced how fantastic it would be to go into a venue and play the music they wanted to play, to an audience who loved 50's rock 'n' roll . After more discussion it was decided that Billy would put together a Billy Fury Tribute, and Tony A Buddy Holly Tribute, and that both of them would come together for an anything goes last spot, sort of three shows in one night the Ultimate Rock N Roll Show ! Rehearsals started the next day.
In March 2007, a show CD was made at Fairview studios which is for sale on show nights. The shows first gig was In late April at Hull ’s Dorchester Hotel. The night was a great success for Bill and Tony as well as the audience. They played the music that they wanted to play and the audience loved it . It does'nt get better than that !
Since that first night at the Dorchester the bookings have started to come in from around the East Yorkshire coast, and even one in Nottingham. We have been limited to the number of bookings that we could take for the show this year due to our other solo gigs which had been booker prior to the show being put together. We hope that 2008 will see us performing in other venues up and down the country, up to now everyone who has seen our act has been very positive.
