Became interested in music and the idea of becoming a performer after watching Elvis films as a child.
 
Confesses to being a little “un-cool” and behind the times with a musical influence somewhere between Elvis Presley and Jim Reeves.
“I like anything that makes me listen” he says.
As for being the band-leader.... “chasing contracts and agents and keeping my brother’s on their toes....I’m not surprised the quiff has gone south” he says as he recalls the days when he would use half a pot of Brylcreem before each gig...!
